Range Complex
The Lord Roberts Centre has some of the finest 50m .22 cartridge and 10m
air ranges in Europe and they are equal to any in the rest of the world.
They have been designed and built to the highest specifications;
consequently they offer the latest state of the art shooting facilities
together with easy access routes and a lift for those with restricted
mobility. The Centre boasts the following features:
Malcolm Cooper Range
60 Sius Ascor electronic scoring targets at 50m for .22 cartridge rifles
and pistols on a covered firing point.
Ten targets for FAC Section 1 .22 Air Rifles.
Six targets at 25 yards for .177 Air Gun
In addition the 50m range boasts a 12 target 25yard prone indoor rifle
range, ideal for those cold winter days and evenings. Field Target
facilities are also available.
Ammunition batch testing at 50m can be carried out with free use of the
test bench facility when ammunition is purchased from the NSRA shop.
10 Metre Air Gun Ranges
80 Sius Ascor electronic scoring targets at 10m for .177 air guns
We also have 6 x 10m rapid fire bays with turning targets.
The air ranges are on the first floor and are divided into three
separate ranges by ‘sound proofed’ moveable walls. These ranges can be
dismantled and used for virtually any kind of function, they are ideal
for large seminars or conferences
